One of the first sketches ever, done by me.

So, you might be wondering "what's a dragon doing in this picture"? Well, when I first started writing this story in 2021, Jaeda was a dragon. And she remained one for about two years until my younger brother convinced me to go a different route.

Another illustration with Dragon Jaeda. Both of these illustrations were from late 2022. I didn't go the humanoid-Earth Sprite direction until early 2023.

The first drawing for the Earth Spirit version of Jaeda. Took a lot of heavy inspiration for the design from the Earth Sprite from FANTASIA 2000.

One of the first drawings for this new version of Mal. You'll note that while Jaeda has undergone drastic changes, Mal's design has pretty much remained consistent.

This is the first piece of art done by Filipino illustrator Natasha Bhatkal, who was able to take my designs and turn them into something very beautiful.
